Ashling called up yesterday looking to cancel account. Very happy with service website etc but says theya are getting nothing what so ever from the site and they know because they have a specific phone number on the site to track it.

Asked her to give me a chance to investigate first, she agreed.

Need to appeal for patience on dealer websites and get them to see dramatic month on month growth.

Super maintenance pitch with Paul, worried that he has spent 800 odd inc vat with no comeback but understands my arguements on the website.

Few extras like Facebook added in and id say they will stick with us. Will have further conversation with Ashling on monday to confirm that and we will go from there.

They have done very little with the site since I convinced that not to cancel in November. Have only 5 on our site, 20 on Done Deal. There dealer website continues to grow and is on track for a record month.

Got onto Paul and made an enthusiastic plea to get things up to date and get all that stock up there asap. The site is flying, if you get all the cars up now it will work for you. If it doesnt I am out of ideas.

Told him now is the time to capitalise on his dealer site activity. Agreed and said he would get Ashling to put the cars up today and tomorrow.

This has been dragging on and Paul was still intending to cancel. Hasnt been using the site for over two months. My promises around Google rankings, increased dealer site traffic etc. have come good so he is going to stay on at 65+vat per month for the time being.

He is going to get stock back up to date over the next couple of days and we will go from there.

Finally updated the stock, added new cars and is off the no uploads list!

Removed the existing profile photo for the garage at Kevins request as they have a new premises. He is sending me a new replacement photo now which I will add back in once I get it.

Kevin has never done very well from the site. Both himself, Paul & Ashling are really nice but we have always had trouble getting them to update, put all stock on the site etc.

Paying 66 and going to 99 as part of restructure. That is the straw that has broke the camels back.

No hard feelings what so ever, he will do business with us again next year if a few things align.

If the CarsIreland.ie brand is bigger he will come back, if he has more cars for sale over 10K he will come back.
