Welcome to Mulligans Garage. Located in the heart of South Dublin city 
(You will get directions here), we have been providing repair, servicing, auto-electrical services & car sales services to the area for more than 25 years.

With over 35 years of knowledge in the car industry, we are able to provide reliable and expert advice on all makes and models of cars whilst specialising in Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi cars. All work is carried out to the highest standard using all genuine parts. We deliver a personal experience whereby our mechanics will deal directly with all customers and are more than happy to throughly explain all work carried out for them allowing customers to better understand their cars.

Workshop:

General Servicing

Most manufacturers  suggest that you have your car serviced about once a year to maintain it in a safe and efficient working order and to ensure it's reliability. Modern cars have service reminder displays which will indicate to you when your car needs a service. We can provide top quality service for all makes and models of car.

 A general service will include:

 

An oil and oil filter change (we use only the correct Castrol oil & genuine filters as recommended by your vehicles manufacturers)
Spark plug, Air filter or Pollen filter replacement if needed
A full inspection of:
- Brakes
- Tyres
- All fluid levels
- All lights
- Battery
- Windscreen Wipers & Washers
Service Light will be reset
If your car is due an NCT, let us know when you're with us and we'll check additional items such as headlight alignment and exhaust emissions for you as well!
 
Please feel free to request either a full diagnostic or emissions report when you drop off your car for a full service and we'll carry them out for you at no extra cost!



Repairs & Consumables
 
A well maintained car can last a lifetime but from time to time all cars will need some extra attention and repairs. Consumables are the items in your car which are essential to its running but which will not last the cars lifetime and so will have to be replaced periodically. Some such items include:
Brake Pads
Clutch Replacement
Timing Belt/Chain replacement
Suspension Parts such as ball joints, shock absorbers or suspensions springs
Brake Fluid flush and replacement
Anti-freeze flush and replacement

About Our Business


A family-run business situated in the centre of South Dublin city, Mulligans Garage has supplied quality car repair and sales service for 25 years. Owner Seamus Mulligan, has spent over 35 years in the motor industry since first serving his motor mechanic trade as a 17-year old. Having worked extensively around Europe in his early 20's, he opened Mulligans in 1985 and has been serving the area ever since.

Specialising in German cars and specifically Mercedes-Benz has allowed us to attain an extremely high standard of understanding of these cars and we pride ourselves on knowing these cars inside-out. Our genuine Mercedes Star Diagnosis system allows us access to the most up-to-date software directly from Mercedes-Benz.

We aim to provide a personal touch to accompany our professional service to all of our customers.

Having dealt heavily with Mercedes-Benz cars throughout his career, head mechanic Seamus Mulligan has developed an excellent reputation in dealing with all models of Mercedes-Benz cars. We have the added benefit of our genuine Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnosis machine which is linked directly to Mercedes-Benz in Germany. This advanced diagnostic machine allows us access to your cars on-board computer and helps us to diagnose all faults, past and present which may be in your car.
 
Audi & Volkswagen 
We also have vast experience in dealing with both Audi & Volkswagen cars and are well versed in the use of their diagnostic equipment VCDS (formerly known as VagCom) allowing us to determine and cure major and minor problems as quickly as possible. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of these cars and hope that you find our service to your satisfaction.
