Sweeney's Garage beside the famous Guinness brewery in Dublin is a place where The passionate motorist can bring their car or light commercial in for a full service and selection of repair's,  Our technicians are experienced in Car Servicing,
Tyre Fitting, Wheel alignment,  engine diagnostics, Car electrics, fitting of Clutches, Starters, Alternators etc.
We started our Business in 2001 under the name WWW.taxitaxi.ie and traded out of premises on North Circular Road, while we are still in the taxi business; Sweeney's garage is now officially the retail side of our trade, Our Garage in Bridgefoot  Street  has been supplying tyres for over 30 years to Dubliners and we stock brands like Dunlop, Pirelli, Bridgestone, and also economy brands like Kuhmo & Enduro to cover a wide range for our customers requirements

We are registered with FAS the nation training centre and will commit to have our technicians skills updated annually.
You are welcome to call in, and our technicians will spend 15 minutes assessing you vehicle needs at no cost to you, if  more time is needed we will advise you, finally all advice is given in a written format and this quotation is valid for 7 full days. About us

We started our business in 2001 renting and selling taxis, thankfully over a period of time we built up a fleet of 35 taxis. Did you know the average taxi in our fleet would travel 1300 Klms per week? this demands  lot of servicing.
4 services + 6.5 tyres every year per car, 2 sets of brake pads & 1 set of discs every year per car, Clutch, alternator & starting motor every 2 years per car. Head gasket, Radiators, every 3 years per car. New factory reconditioned engines, gearboxes and turbo every 5 years.  What we have here is a lot of experience and we bring all that knowledge to Sweeney's Garage.

Our Team

We employ a fully trained and qualified Auto electrician, his expertise is second to none and we do receive several telephone calls 
from our colleagues in main dealers seeking his advice, 
We also employ a fully trained and qualified mechanic, having served his time in Poland  with a Saab main dealer, our man can diagnose 
faults that show on your dashboard or take your car for a road test and give an accurate assessment of the work required on your car.
We have 2 trainees working very well, they are enthuastic, hard working and will learn to become competent and confident technicians over a 4 year period
