South West Motors is a family owned car retailer based in the village of Athea, Co. Limerick (You will find directions to our premises here).
We have a wide range of used cars for sale, provide car valeting, not to mention our car sourcing service. We are conveniently located just a short drive from Limerick City and also close by for motorists in Newcastle West, Listowel, Tralee & Abbeyfeale. Joe Kelly is on site daily to handle your enquiry personally.

Car Valeting:
We offer a range of valeting services from mini valets to full detailing. Based in Athea, we are ideally located for motorists in Limerick City, Newcastle West, Listowel, Tralee and Abbeyfeale.
Our full range of valet services include:
Wash, dry and tyre shine – €10
Car washed using a slick, pH neutral shampoo. Car then dried with plush microfiber drying towel, and tyres dressed with new look tyre dressing.
Mini Valet – €35
Car washed using a slick, pH neutral shampoo. Car then dried with plush microfiber drying towel, and tyres dressed with new look tyre dressing. Interior vacuumed, dash and trim dusted and cleaned, and finally door shuts cleaned.
Full Interior Valet – €60
Interior vacuumed, seats and carpets shampooed, dash and trim dusted, cleaned and dressed, door shuts cleaned and polished, windows polished.
Full Exterior Valet – €60
Car washed using two bucket method, using a slick, pH neutral shampoo. Car then dried with plush microfiber drying towel, and tyres dressed with new look tyre dressing. Arches dressed with protective sealant, Bodywork de-tarred, clayed, polished and two coats of wax, windows polished, trim dressed.
Full Valet – €110
Combination of the full interior and full exterior valets
Full Exterior Detail – €Ask
Price depends on size of vehicle and condition of paintwork Car washed using a slick, pH neutral shampoo. Car then dried with plush microfiber drying towel. Bodywork de-tarred, clayed, and full machine polish for removal of swirl marks and light scratches. . Once the polish is completed, we top off with 2 coats of wax. To finish, we dress tyres, trim and coat the wheel arches with a protective sealant.
Extras: Engine bay clean and dress €25
