Morning Ger,
I spoke to Peter Keogh from Cavan Motors a Nissan franchise dealer (71482).
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Peter wasn't happy with a number of things....
First of all they aren't generating leads from CarsIreland. Eugene is in the process of reviewing their account. Peter informed me unless we can provide a valid reason for staying with CarsIreland Cavan Motors will close the account. Eugene is a numbers man and reviews everything at the end of each month and CarsIreland is not providing a return on his monthly investment.
They are signed up to Beep Beep and get free ads with Donedeals.ie because of this. They are very happy with the service and generating solid leads in the second hand market.
They aren't happy with the pricing from carzone but they have monopoly over the market especially in new car sales. They closed their account with carzone over a year ago because it was proving too costly. Their lead generation fell over this period and since have signed back up with carzone.
Overall Peter was pleasant to speak with and was just giving me a heads up on the situation with Cavan Motors. He was disappointed that since signing up to CarsIreland you haven't followed up or called into the showroom. (According to Peter)
He would like to speak with yourself face to face before they close for Christmas if possible.
On a positive note Nissan Ireland want all dealers on Facebook and Twitter next year. They want dealers updating these social accounts on a weekly basis. Peter was interested in the Facebook widget but will not sign up for anything from CarsIreland until he speaks with yourself.

Had a good chat with Peter, feeling pressure from the boss Eamon regarding costs. Had a bit of a melt down yesterday regarding cost of advertising and we happened to call.
Went through all the respnse figures for the year and he is surprised and happy. Also explained for the 10th time I am not floating around Cavan dropping in for tea. If he is unhappy he needs to call me.
Going to setup Facebook stock feed for him as a goodwill Christmas present. Password has been changed since I set it up for him and he cant remember what it was.
Gone to get password and will go from there...
Following up with Peter in relation to both response levels and his Facebook stock feed.
Since he had a bitch in December results are good:

Used car site now up to 1,174 visitors + 500ish
Have called a few times and not got him, left detailed voicemail explaining all of the above.
