I am going to use this dealer ID as the main account for the Joe Duffy group all notes for the account will be made here.
An initial trial has been run with these guys between Alan, Mick and Alan Gilligan in Joe Duffy.
Despite quite good results, Mr Gilligan has disputed the validity of some of the e-mails and claimed they only got 15 enquirys during the trial. Alans figure was 96. We suggested alternative or dedicated e-mail addresses to track the enquirys but Alan G never engaged again.
The last return contact we had from him was the mail below:
Hi Alan,
Thanks for your email.
I’m afraid as you can see from the below we haven’t had anything like the numbers you are reporting by way of leads.
We have had 15 leads since August 2014 including both of the examples you have provided below.
CarsIreland.ie just isn’t a productive source of leads at all for us (we have had 400 from Carzone in Q1 2015 alone).
Hopefully this info helps to develop the CarsIreland portal in to a more effective tool for lead generation. I have previously shared info like this with Barry McCabe to highlight the fact that despite a huge amount of visitor traffic to CarsIreland.ie it simply doesn’t convert that traffic to leads from people interested in buying Used Cars. Perhaps it is targeting the wrong type of traffic?

Totalling around 220 cars at a time.
