Reasonably good at keeping website up to date. Have not had any joy getting dealer website live. Have chased all the way from when they signed with us. Made changes to the site and all. Mark said he was very happy with it. Just needed time to finalise some text and would get it live. Have been chasing that text for 3 months. Leaving be for now unless Mark comes back to me an 8th or 9th e-mail would be a waste of time.
SW Mark stock hadnt been refresehed in over 90 days. Explained that they have very little used left. They have been flat out with New sales and hence havent been doing anything with used. Did a quick sync for me though and said he will be getting used stock back correct next week so its right for next year. Like a broken record I mentioned option of our dealer website yet again.
Mark got in contact yesterday to cancel his account. Spoke with Sinead and also sent an e-mail.
I called him back and he expained he was trying to cut his advertising cost across the board particularly anything that was not providing enquires.
I stressed once again the only reason the site was not producing for him was the lack of updates. None for over 221 days. He said there was no way he would be able to update enough to make it work citing staff constraints. I then offered to take a feed from his dealer website to eliminate this problem.
He agreed to stick with us for a bit longer on that basis and if enquires pick up there will be no problem. Asked Mick to arrange feed.
