advised james the site was live. james said he did not want email at the moment.
I called James from Cost Plus Cars to pitch the Facebook Stock Feed and he straight away said that he wants to cancel the service of CarsIreland as he said he has received nothing from it. He told me that he wants to cancel the service at the end of the month. He said he has received loads of traffic from Done Deal and nothing from us. I said that you would call him Thursday as he is your client and he was fine with that. Seems a rash character.
Spoke to James who is very happy with CarsIreland as in how we operate, on how our website looks and how it offers a great user experience but he says that he is just not getting enough referrals.
I went through a few tips with him - price/photos/stock (he has 4 more cars in stock which he hasn't uploaded??)
I also told him that I will look at his website re: SEO - and that it will take time to build rankings
I offered to reduce his monthly price from €89 to €73
James is happy to stay with us and very much wants it to work so I will be monitoring the situation and will be reviewing his site with him

No joy with this man,
Only has 4 or 5 cars at the best of times and says he has no cars at all to sell right now and wont have until Feb at least.
Was confident I could stop him from cancelling based on the website and the SEO work that he would render useless by taking the site down but he doesn't care. I was making the point about tyres and servicing searches in Cork etc. nothing to do with the used cars that it was crucial he keep it going.
The reason he doesn't care is because he has another long standing site: http://www.costplustyres.com/ that is already on page one of Google for these searches.
That site is crap, offered to build him a new one as part of existing deal but was having none of it.
Fairly annoying as he actually has received 5 quality e-mail enquiry's in the last 5 weeks with only 4 vehicles in stock and even sold a car from the site 2 weeks ago. Again he says he does not care because he has no more units in stock to put up.
Adamant he will be in touch in the new year to come back on again.
